Naomi Vona (geb. 1982)
Is een italiaanse kunstenaar woonachtig in Milaan. Wij zijn trots en blij dat ze tijdens het festival Fabriek Magnifique 2024 bij Atelier ArteSoffitta workshops komt geven.
Ze is een kunstenaar en zij omschrijft zichzelf als een “archief parasiet met geen slechte intensies” In haar werk combineert ze verschillende intresses zoals fotografie, collages en illustraties. Haar ondezoek is gefocust op het veranderen van vintage en hedendaagse gevonden afbeeldingen. Zij creert een nieuwe interpretatie van de orginele afbeelding.
Zij gebruikt pennen, papier, washi tape, stickers and markers om haar afbeelding een nieuw leven te geven. Ieder werk is in basis samengesteld uit 3 elementen: haar leven en achtergrond, haar inspiratie en haar onderbewustzijn en dat is ook de lijm die het allemaal samenbrengt.
Naomi heeft haar opleiding en diploma van de Design and Photography van Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italië.
Haar passie voor illustratie en photografie leidde tot expirimenteren met collage technieken toen ze nog een student was. Zo ontwikkelde ze een persoonlijk en herkenbare stijl. In 2013 begon ze te expirimenteren doornover vintage foto’s en schilderijen, te doodlen, illustreren en stickers te plakken. Het uiteindelijke resultaat gaf haar een geweldig gevoel.
Laat je verleiden door deze heerlijke techniek met fantastische resultaten. Het is niet nodig dat je goed kan tekenen. En door het repeteren van de vormen is het zelfs meditatief.
Naomi Vona Bio
Naomi Vona (Desio 1982), is an Italian artist. We are proud and happy that she will give workshops at Atelier ArteSoffitta during the Fabriek Magnifique 2024 festival.
The artist defines herself as an " parasite, with no bad intentions".
Her works combine different interests like photography, collages and illustration. Her research is focused on altering vintage and contemporary found images, creating a new interpretation of the original shots.
Using pens, paper, washi tape and stickers she gives every image a new life.
Every work is basically composed of three elements: her life background, her inspirations and subconscious, that is also the glue that puts all together.
Naomi has a degree in Design and Photography from Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy. Her passion for illustration and photography drove her to experiment with collage since she was a student, developing a personal recognisable style. In 2013 she started to play over vintage photos, paintings, doodling and attaching stickers over them. The final result gave her an amazing feeling, so she realized that this was the best way to express herself to the world.
Be seduced by this wonderful technique with fantastic results.It is not necessary that you can draw well. And by rehearsing the shapes it is even meditative.
